TON, the native token of the Telegram-linked blockchain, climbed 8.33% to $1.60 over the past 24 hours, fuelled by a series of ecosystem developments and increasing institutional interest.
The price move pushed TON decisively through the $1.60 level amid a sharp rise in trading volume, helping it outperform the broader crypto market. By comparison, the CoinDesk 20 (CD20) index rose around 4% during the same period.
The latest rally follows TON’s October ecosystem update, which outlined several notable milestones. Among them was the launch of the Confidential Compute Open Network (COCOON) — a decentralised AI network unveiled by Telegram founder Pavel Durov. Integrated directly into the Telegram platform, COCOON is designed to link AI tools and financial applications across the app’s 900 million-strong user base, positioning TON as a key hub for AI-driven decentralised finance.
Further momentum has come from new integrations, including tokenised US stocks, digital collectibles and growing liquidity support. Listings on Bitstamp and expanding partnerships, such as adoption by Chainlink, have added to TON’s recent strength.
